Sketchy Tower Defense was finally released on November 26th. It's been doing quite well since, staying in the top 7 downloads the entire time. Have a look, try the trial. If you find that you enjoy it the full version is only 80 MS points away (about $1 USD).

Hey man, went looking for the Pixel Troll site and found your blogspot instead. Looking forward to the new game. My wife and I have put many multiple hours into Sketchy Tower Defense. She isn't a big video game player, but she can't put this one down. Love it. Great work. Just wanted to let you know that your work is being appreciated in Tennessee. We got some other friends playing it too. We all want online support, but we all understand that's a different beast entirely, haha. Anyways, God bless ya man. Keep up the good work. ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm glad you're enjoying the game. You're right that online multiplayer is quite a different beast. For one it requires more dedicated testing resources which I don't have the time for.
Sketchy is a great game I have played more then I would like to admit pure simple strategy with no fluff and a little bit of comedy mixed in.
ReplyDeleteI just found out tonight that my Xbox cant keep up at wave 100 to 131 :) I have an old Xbox though.

Me and my buddy play a lot of sketchy tower defense. we just really really want more maps tho! the game is spectacular and for a dollar cannot be passed up. Please keep us informed and we hope to see a sequel or even an update with more maps or something! good luck on the website!
ReplyDeletehello. Great game! we've spent days trying to master the first level and (not bragging) we've been able to achieve wave 180. The problem is our xbox can't keep up with the massive amount of enemies on the board. I'm not complaining, its just we're kind've disappointed we can't continue to play because of the incapacity of our machine. Thanks anyway though. Sketchy Tower Defense has brought much joy into our lives.

ReplyDeletehello pixeltroll, i am writing on march 13 2023 and i would first like to commend you on your awesome game Sketchy Tower Defence. I bought this 10 years ago now for $1 and it has provided me and my family with literally hundreds of hours of fun. what i would like to ask you about is the probability of you re-releasing this exact same game on xbox again? whether its a remake or just backwards compatible i would love to be able to play this wonderful game on updated hardware. i would gladly pay for access again and i would also pay ten times what i payed for it the first time, HAPPILY. hopefully you read this in the near future and could possibly update me and all your fans it would be greatly appreciated. good luck on any of your current and future projects and please, please ,please think about releasing sketchy tower again for your many fans.
